La banda Muse, se llevó el premio al mejor Álbum Rock del año con The Resistance, los nominados a esta categoría fueron Jeff Beck – Emotion & Commotion Muse – The Resistance, Pearl Jam – Backspacer, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – Mojo Neil Young – Le Noise. En marzo y abril estarán en Chile, Argentina y Brasil junto a U2.
